ELECTRICAL TAGGING AND TESTING

Electrical Safety testing and tagging is required to ensure no-one is at risk of receiving an electric shock as they use electrical appliances.

We perform a safety test on all electric appliances that plug into a 240V powerpoint. If the equipment is passed it is tagged as safe to use. If it fails the test we will recommend the appliance is repaired or disposed of.

The Australian Standard that the test is performed under is AS/NZ 3760:2004 - In Service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

We also conduct Microwave oven radiation leakage testing.

Safety and Fire Equipment technicians have both Electrcal Testing and Tagging qualifications from TAFE and are Tasmainan Fire Service permit holders.

Electrical Testing and Tagging is available state wide.
