Passive Fire Protection products delays the breaching of the fire compartmentalisation of a structure. It blocks the travel of fire via service penetrations such as pipe and cable holes through walls and ceilings. Passive Fire Protection is available in Fire Pillows, Fire Mastic and Fire Collars.
Fire Pillows
Fire Pillows are made from from quality cloth envelops, enclosing a high tempurature fir resistant granulated material. The pillows meet Australian fire testing standard AS1530 part 4.
Fire Mastic
Fire Mastic is a flexible water based gunnable sealant for fire resistant sealing of joints and service penetrations providing up to 4hrs FRL when tested to AS1530 part 4 - 1990. It bonds to masonary, concrete, plasterboard, metal and cable coverings and rmains flexible after curingto accommodate thermal movement.
